Status Updates From Art History 101: The Essent...

Finley’s writing is choppy, faltering, and verbose. I know this is a book about a different medium of art but part of art is also describing it in a way that conveys thoughts and ideas effectively and so far I see nothing of the sort. The linguist in me is appalled, and we only just began the book. 😒

Really approachable guide. Stops at Modernism in 1936. Great photos, informative, but not too much text!
