If he can't make the faces look different then he really needs to work on utilizing a wider variety of the more obvious features. He's great at animals and morphing, but the characters are often just in their human forms. Also, I don't understand why Marco doesn't want the others to know about what he found out.

The first third is foolish, the rest is scary. The main thing this book does though is highlight how hard of a time Grime has making his characters look different from eachother. Like, why does Marco's dad look like an ill version of Jake? And why are Visser One's bangs the exact same at Rachel's?

I could ship these two. Marco/Bully Girl Who Isn't Named Here, But I Think She Was in the Original. +100K, slow burn.

It occurs to me: the average kid at school doesn't realize that Rachel is...y'know, Rachel.
