Status Updates From Glass Houses

I decided to DNF this book, as my as I wanted to continue and curious about what happens, I’m not motivated enough to pick up and spend twoish hours finishing it!

The writing is hard to read for me. Im reading slower than I usually do

Was intrigued by the concept of a plane crash on an island, an impending locked house mystery, much like the ones I have read recently.
Yet the crass language, dripping with misogyny, has made this very difficult to read. It might be Madeline’s way of immersing the audience in the world of tech bros, but it is still grating to read and making me deeply consider DNFing this.
