Status Updates From Arcade

Arcade describes the widowed mother, Carrie, dealing with the burdens of raising two kid children, dealing with the death of her husband, and dealing with the changes occurring in her town of Millport. The perspective is that of Carrie as she first describes her children, Nick and Emily, talk about building robots while she drives them to school.

Being a kid of the 80's this is a lovely slice of nostalgia, if it wasn't for the stuffing it would be a more entertaining read, but with the computer lessons and nervous moments it's still fun
