Now on to Chapter 8 of 12!

Officially reached the “intermission” of the book! Only 5 more chapters left to go!

Stanley F. Schmidt, you crack me up!
He has shown us the extensive, accurately dubbed, “old-fashioned approach,” and taken up a good page with that, only to blow us away with “The new quicker handy-dandy approach.”
“I’ve listed a ton of examples in this Your Turn to Play. Work enough of them until you get the hang of it, and then quit and go for a walk in the sunshine.”

Just a few pages every day, but the information is intense! I’m hoping to finish by August!

On to Chapter 7 of 12!

Still plugging away! The math feels hard, but as Stanley F. Schmidt put it,
“Step One: This is new. I don’t get it yet.
Step Two: I’m starting to get it.
Step Three: Oh. That’s how it works.
Step Four: Boring. Anyone can do this.”

Plugging away! I am now working on graphing systems of equations now that I’ve finally reached chapter 6!

Chapter 4 was definitely more difficult than the previous chapters, but I feel very accomplished working through it! I am now on the first lesson in Chapter 5, and it’s been great!

This is an incredible math book! If you don’t like math… are you sure you just don’t like the book you’re using?

This is the best math book I’ve ever done, with the exception of Life Of Fred Pre-Algebra 2 with Economics, just because I really liked the economics. This book has no extra theme like some of his other books, but Stanley F. Schmidt makes the algebra so interesting! I would recommend this book to anyone!
