Status Updates From A Golden Darkness (The Feyf...

This is really interesting and good... but I think I'm need to pause it for now. All the talk of grandmama's illness and the possibility of death is making me sad... and I know I won't want to read it after attending a funeral tomorrow.😥

I think this is the first book I've read by this author where I'm frustrated at the main characters lol
But that's not a bad thing, I just want them to overthrow the evil witch!

It’s done.

I can hardly believe it, but I just typed the final line of the first draft of A Golden Darkness. I had the wild idea to get it done this week; and God gave me the strength to do it.

This was a rough one, y’all. It fought me almost all the way. But the ending… it was worth it.

It’s a mess of a draft. But it’s done. And that’s enough.

We're almost through Act 2! By God's grace, the first draft is zooming by. I can definitely see weak areas, but I also have ideas of how to fix them, so overall, I'm happy with where this draft is.

Approximately 27,000 words to go!

And wow, this story is... different from the others, to say the least. I'm so excited to see it finally coming together!

Book 3 of The Feyfolk Trilogy is officially underway! I hit the 12% mark today, which means the first hints of the main plot are just beginning to stir.
