Well, guess I was mistaken thinking that this possibly being the last book means that Ben and Alek would get out of this unscathed... they don't deserve more pain. I need them left alone😭😭

He comes by it so honestly😭 and his natural distrust of most people has been useful. That's also what makes their current found family special.

I love Ben and Alek with my whole heart otherwise I wouldn't read 14 books about them, but omg I need Harry's character to get more interesting or disappear. How many pages is this story about the cursed family and the treasure?! I'm gonna lose it. Can't we just spend the last book back home at Dartmoor with the whole gang and the rest of the family?

I had to pause reading this as the middle part hit a bit too close to home. I’m ready to finish it now.
