Ugh, cant wait to be done

Im freaking bored. How many times can two charekters shake their fucking head in a single chapter? How many fucking times will "rib crushing corsets" be brought up? How many lines thet ive read so many times before do i have to fucking read? So many simular trops. Why does the stable boy have perfectly straight white teeth? Why is the girl from 1812 treating her lesbianism as completly normal, not the one from 2023?

This book had so much potential if the romance had at least begun sooner and not so late! The first kiss and love moment all the way to the 70% pretty much at the end!

So much could have been done to be more romance focused.

How do you manidge to do reasearch about historical undergarments and somehow miss thet corsest were acually quite comfterble?
If they meansion it hurting her one more time i dont think i can finish this book
Also, reading this one as a breather between more complicated books and at 1st i was enjoying the fast pace but now its more like they move on from everything too fast
I enjoyed Great Gatsby way more
