Status Updates From My Ex-mas Emergency

I’ve had mixed feeling with this author but I’ve started listening to the Aspen Lake stories and was looking for more of this town. So far, it annoyed me off the bat that she wrote him in third person. At first I thought it was a joke, but hearing the narrator talk like this grates on me. At 36%, this “I solemnly swear that I will not look into his eyes” tidbit is getting real old.
