Im only determined to complete this book because I began to describe it to my husband as a femme power fantasy (shes SO powerful. Gasp.) And realized that Im way less comfortable with reading femme power fantasies than masculine ones (which also make me gag but I get through them). So. Im powering through. 🙃

Only a few pages in, but I’m finding the writing extremely dry. I’m hoping that something reels me in relatively solid n because otherwise I don’t see myself wanting to keep reading very long TBH, if it’s like this all the way through.
