Status Updates From Illuminated (The Pendant of...

This has by far been my favourite book of the series, where every chapter has had some unexpected twist that I can't wait to learn how they resolve them. The characters are the most developed in this book and it doesn't feel like a childrens book anymore.

I'm not ready to finish this series...it's been with me for more than a year y'all I'm gonna cry 20 pages left.

I still have like 75 pages to go wdym the books not done yet? WHY CANT IT END HERE? I hope the rest is all happy, tying off the series with a good end. And not smth dramatic happening.

I predicted Esme going dead inside coz of Hazel dying WHY AM I RIGHT? I DONT WANT TO BE. I’ve been in denial thinking “they’ll go back to their human form blablabla” I’m losing hope y’all….

(what i guess is) the climax of the book has come and gone and honestly? this is angsty yeah but not enough to cover up the pacing

okay the book redeemed itself a little, the scene between Jonathan and Chai was TOP TIER.

how is there still three hundred pages left in this book?? there is maybe 50 pages' worth of plot left to resolve. and like no new conflict arised in this book. the so called reveal that happened fifty pages ago, that was supposed to stray Hazel off of saving the Pull had no effect on the plot whatsoever. I'm jumping to page 300 to see what has changed and i will come back to report

things that happened since the book began:
1. the Dream Team entered the subconscious forest
2. Visions.
3. Thalia was convinced in a very unconvincing way by the Pull that Hazel shouldn't give the pendant back?? i genuinely didn't understand why.
