Cole Stockton are sooo sexy!

While the story is readable, Cole is more "bad guy" than "hero" in my book. Controlling, demanding, possessive, with wildly outdated notions. Kelsey could do so much better. While I like when bad guys think the Leading Man is dangerous, I like it much less when the heroine is "terrorized" and "fearful" of him. His possess stalking and control should have her running far far away

In addition to chasing her outside, grabbing from behind a tree, and forcing himself on her, Cole now calls her gets angry if she misses his call or is with other people because he's jealous, he chased her onto a cruise she was taking and paid someone to get her room information, he went through and stole her work documents, and he complains she has trust issues? Cole is scary. Restraining order scary! He's no hero

Honestly, reading this is making me a little sick to my stomach at the moment. I'm hanging in there to see what happens and still have some hope Krentz can turn thus around, but the leading man Cole (can't call him the "hero") is a possessive, dangerous, creepy stalker dude which is just terrorizing Kelsey. Breaking glass, uncontrolled anger, and virtually rape. I'm really not sure hes redeemable at this point.

Cole is so far the creepiest hero yet in a Krentz novel. Everything about him yells dangerous, possessive stalker. I'm still waiting to see if Krentz can turn this book around, but right now I think the heroine should be running for her life. Nothing charming or sexy about this dangerous man so far

So far I'm more shocked that anything. Cole violently smashes a glass, chases Kelsey out into the pouring rain, hides, grabs her from behind a tree and almost forces her to sleep with him. She acquiesces in the end, but it's still almost a rape. So far Cole is possessive and dangerous. I'm not sure why Kelsey isn't running for her life. Cole seems more like the villain than the hero so far...

"You belong to me now, Kelsey, and on some level I think you recognize that. Our battles are too private, too intimate to drag others into them." <-- isolate your victim, make her feel stupid, make her grateful she has you to abuse take care of her
