Oh, Fleur's writing is just so lovely. This one just feels so unique. I have been wanting to get back to Paris for a story for quite some time. Duke disguised as a plain mister is also fun!

I love Arley already

Exhausted, but not in the usual people are fucking awful way, Arley leaned into his palm, his elbows propped on the bar in some tavern, somewhere.

He felt used and energised and properly wrung out.

Marvellous. Beyond marvellous. Euphoric.

I knew this was a "just go with it" book, but I was still hoping the plot would have a little more substance to it. Maybe the last 50% of the book will be better🤞

I love Vivianne and Arley so, so much and am simultaneously terrified and on the edge of my seat. 😬
