Status Updates From 1974: A Personal History – ...

One of my first thoughts is that because of the way it is narrated, the reader is always waiting for something to happen. It is mostly reflection and driving around. I’m not sure if that was intentional, but what I perceive of how the world was in the mid-to-late 70’s was that everybody was driving around waiting for something to happen because so much was supposed to happen. I see this in 70’s films too..
