“Alebrijes” I whispered, a smile spreading across my face, remembering the old tale my father used to tell me. “Alebrijes are spirit guides, strongly connected to nature. The Aztec people created these symbolic creatures by mixing two living animals……..”

I loved using Alebrijes through out this book. Their mystical meaning and connection to the main characters
