Finished the wedding short story, twas def an interesting read and makes me wonder what traditions would be considered important to me but wowzers this tale took it to a strange direction with the whole discourse over how may goats to get slaughtered to appease some god and the bride having to lie with the priest for a week?? Anywho look forward to see how bonkers the other short stories get.

This is a reread bc I loved this collection of stories so much. I only recall a few of them that stood out and stayed with me, so I'm excited to rediscover them(and more) again! Highly recommend this as a palate cleanser or even whilst reading a hefty novel! The first story alone will have you hooked.
