When I bought this book, I didn't realize how late in Berenson's previous Melanie Travis series and the new Senior Sleuths Mystery series it is. Not to worry though. This author does a good job in introducing the characters without giving much away from the previous books. Moving the setting to Lexington, Kentucky, where I lived for a couple of years, helped.
