Status Updates From This Used to Be Us

I don’t know if to try take a guess then at the final of the book. As the book says second chance I guess they get back together? Or does something happen to make a sad ending. I have no clue.

Read a review that the ending is the worst in the book unsure how that can be true as the full book has been a slow burner. To be honest I don’t even know if there is any embers there at all.

Why did he think it was an absolutely stellar idea to bring the new girlfriend to thanksgiving and even more so why oysters.

Your education is a tiny seed. It's a gift and if you water it, it will continue to grow ... forever. The degree, uni, printed on a piece of paper, or the job that may come along with it... those things are not evidence of a good education. Being self-aware, compassionate, humble, being able to see the world and the others in it through an unselfish lens, that's what an educated person does.

Cute how each parent told the kids to treat new partners with respect.

The notes on the vinyl cases are so cute. I love how these are the link to old memories between the two. A chapter goes from the current to a thought of the past.
