Concept still has me interested but writing style still has me annoyed

This book is making me anxious

I am always interested in a time travel trope book, but this authors writing style I just do not enjoy already. Reminds me of a sophomore’s contribution to their creative writing class circle… a lot of adjectives and cliche descriptors. But I want to stick it out!! Hopefully it gets better

I'm actually lost for words. I have to assume this book was written in 6 hours and literally nobody read a single page of it before it went into print, because wow. What a spectacular way to ruin an interesting premise with the worst execution anyone who's ever lived could imagine. Horrible writing! Get an editor. On second thought, I don't think this level of incompetence can even be fixed in editing. Urghhhhhh.

oh man, so far this has been enjoyable but the couple choices that were presented were super easy picks, and nothing wild happening in general.

but the urgency, some mystery, just things overall have been ratcheting up and now I'm at a choice that's actually tough, I don't know what to pick! 🤔
