Mall of America a Suzanne Wang
I loved the premise that this AI was telling us a story only in defense but its tone made it clear that it was not actually defending itself, but proving itself right. The story features an AI in a mall trying to get a man who stays overnight is a paying customer. It’s such a happy but sad story when he died, but I loved the way the AI changed based on its conversations with the man.

This story was about a woman trying to cope with having a crazy family in Kenya. It’s very relatable because my family is also crazy. I liked this story but I don’t get why it’s called baboon when the baboon was barely present. Maybe it’s a metaphor cuz when the crazy baboons scared away a lion, it’s showing that this family also is crazy like monkeys and stuff. Idk that sounds right. This was a good one.

Every time I pick this up to read another story, I enjoy it. I should probably stick to this and take a break from my consistent stack of disappointing novels.
