This was an excellent book with so much heart and I adored it. 😊

I LOVED the twist about who drove the yellow Prius. Kristin O'Donnell Tubb had me going as a reader since I thought that Chloe and her family were being stalked. But they weren't being stalked at all. That situation was benign. 🙂

I wonder if I'm going to get an answer about why Chloe and her family were being followed by a person in a yellow Prius. That loose end hasn't been tied up yet.

The mentions of Charlie pooping everywhere resonate with me. Domesticated birds do that. They poop where they're not supposed to poop. 😅😂

I smile. The tears still sting, even after you know the truth. I guess that’s the thing about tears: they’re there to remind you that the love is still there, too. And that’s okay. I want the love to still be there.

The description of the "clown car" reminds me of how my mom throws shade at people by calling them clowns. 😂 She does this behind a person's back when we're venting, of course. It's still comical, though.

I like this way of thinking about grief.

'I feel like I’m made of ninety-nine hearts, and every one of them hurts.' It takes my breath away, how so many feelings rush in, overhearing my mom say that.

That's really heavy and incredibly sad. 😥

I'm glad that Chloe's mom is warming up to having Charlie as a pet.

Uncle Frank flicks his eyes up to the rearview mirror. 'If that bird poops in here, don’t clean it up. If I’m giving this car to Jaws, let’s leave her a little extra gift, huh?'
