How is there still half of the book to go???

There’s a longer description for how much she misses Rexxan than there was for the fight to get the river stone. The author’s intentions are clear here.

Making up a language and using it for dialogue in this book feels like overkill.

I feel like there’s so many things the author is trying to put in here, none of them get done exceptionally well or in the right amount of detail.

They really jump in quickly to the infatuation.

Reading this for book club. Honestly the world building so far has been a little boring and makes my eyes blur. Hopefully once things are set up it gets more interesting.

I can’t believe I’m not even halfway. This is unfortunately my least favorite book I’ve ever read. Riddled with poor prose and spelling/grammatical errors. Not having a good time but reading this for my cousins book club.
