Definitely interesting so far, I know it’s popular but I think I’ve heard mixed things. I’m a little confused about the world building and the lore because I feel like so much is being thrown at me at once but I like the way the author is doing it and I am definitely invested.

why is it always a tournament :( this is why i stopped reading this genre, cut copy paste. tournament amongst kingdoms to celebrate peace, the rich kingdom conscripts their young to be trained from an early age (as soldiers/champions), the winner gets riches, guards and a nice home. what in the hunger games. i’m just annoyed
