Status Updates From Starve Acre

Richard finished having blood taken. (Past) Ewan acted out of character again and started a fire in his room. He got in trouble and was taken to the doctor for his cough. He seems to be wary of something that his parents cannot see.

Richard went to Gordon’s house (a beacon). Gordon knows the family but seems like he doesn’t care much for the lives of animals (the pets) and threatens them with words. Gordon is preparing to test Richard? Syringe at side of bath? Richard is going into it willingly and it seems fine for now

Harrie tried to get her to eat and failed, then tried to get her to sleep next to her for the night for a chance to talk and failed that as well.

Richard’s mother was an outcast in the town for accidentally hitting someone’s dog with her car. (Past) Ewan was also an outcast. He suddenly became violent and shut a girls fingers in a door on purpose, and it was very out of character. (Past but not as long ago)

Explained that starve acre was entirely infertile, they used to hang people on the tree, no crops or bugs on the plot. He puts together the bones of the hare. The eye sockets are too large.

He went up to his study and was going to study the bones but couldn’t focus. Discussed the backstory of his father and his library, moving in to the house with hopes of a good future, and how one of his father’s books told about the tree/roots he’s looking for.

Juliette is mourning and not doing well at all. She believe Ewan is still in the house after death and has invited the group (cultists?) to their home in hopes to talk with him. Her sister, Harrie, wants her to change her mind. Wants her to get out of the house.
