They act like this info is new and profound (at the beginning of the book, they list a plethora of well-researched ways to support the mind/body/soul, but tell you that you’ve probably tried all of them to no avail). However, everything in this book is a thinly-veiled combination of pranayama, EMDR, and bilateral stimulation. Nothing new, repackaged for the low, low price of whatever they’re trying to sell.

Ok, now it’s just weird stuff. “Let me talk to my inner child in my mind’s eye.”

I’ve learned some, but it’s mostly, “We guided her into her BASE-B - you may not even remember the meaning since that was at the beginning of the book - and she started crying! Magically, we had a breakthrough on the same day! See? Our method works!” The client swears they don’t have a problem, then finds a problem that may not have been the main issue - countertransference? Munchausens? People-pleasing?

This book is entirely too wordy, too flowery in a pretentious manner. And I love psychology, but this book feels like too much of a pseudoscience where they expect everything to work whilst throwing in a little bit of psychology and science to make it seem legit.
