Whew. Revelations coming into the story. Absolutely wild what one character’s selfish choice can do to cause the entire upheaval of the story. If you’re finding this book slow going at the beginning… stick with it. It’s a slow mystery but the juicy drama eventually arrives.

This one has been slow going. It finally got good. 60% done and it gets good now? Meh. I mean, I was really struggling with wanting to finish this book so I’m happy it finally grabbed me but I’m also trying to figure out what exactly it is, because the premise really grabbed me, so it has to be execution… it’s just a bit drab.
