Status Updates From We Come Bearing Curses

Nothing against the author or the book, but I've a hard time getting into this book. Life just has my attention right now, and the words aren't painting the picture for my imagination.

I will say Chapter 7, since I'm fascinated with the spiritual/paranormal world, humans who can see/feel spirits in particular might have done the trick
