The title of the book is accurate. They are not good people. I like the world-building and the story is decent, but I don't care about any of the characters and the whole thing so far is a constant buzz of "watch how I fuck over this guy" and just not very entertaining imo.

Bumping this to the top of the priority list because my library finally secured an interlibrary loan copy for me! Woohoo~!
