That’s the voice the audiobook narrator is using for this monster.
It’s certainly a choice. I will say, instead of any tingles, this book is definitely making me feel a little queasy instead. 🤣🤣🤣

This one is rather slow.
I’ll be honest, this volume and book 3 being set completely in the camp are a little on the boring side. Seems I really enjoy the “on the move” books better: you never know what’s gonna happen. Book 3 and this one it’s like “oh, they’re eating oatmeal again.”

Also, monster-growling monster words is not hot.
