This book is shattering me into a million pieces 😭

The end of this book is ever so slightly overshadowed by Murtagh’s claim he would die quickly from a punctured lung, only to survive an entire fight with the book’s villain, a crawl to look down into a hole, healing someone who wasn’t himself, casting a spell that created a laser beam, a desperate escape from a collapsing cave, and then a needless flight across half the continent. Are you fucking kidding me.
