But it is an assault on a victim of repeated incest assaults so not really erotic. Kind of a cool story though.

The Dripping of Sundered Wineskins - Brian Hodge 5/5

5/5 finally an erotic vampire story in this erotic vampire collection also kinda sweet in a way. So far my favorite of the book and gives me hope in continuing

“Armies of the Heart” by Christopher Fowler 2/5 opens with a dead raped child and then goes to a siege at a gay bar. I don’t know what I’m supposed to take away from this story other than depression. In a differently themed collection this story would have had more impact and maybe would have had more weight and made more sense but this is a collection of “vampire erotica” No vampires. No erotica.

“Snow, Glass, Apples” by Neil Gaiman 4/5 solid retelling of Snow White
“Bella’s Plot” by Caitlín Kieran 2/5 kind of a mess of a story about goth kids dealing with a tough guy trying to buy Bela Lugosi’s cape.
