Chapter 1 - the crisis of identity

The amount of privilege to say "having multiple simultaneous jobs on your resume is a bad thing - how dare you side hustle on your main employer" without acknowledging that people might NEED multiple jobs to sustain themselves is mind-boggling.

Why are the in book exercises and quizzes so complicated

Now she’s saying, don’t quit your job, just network. Is this the 90’s advice from my dad??

I’m finding a hard time relating to this book. I’ve already left my job, which in my opinion was a good move but she keeps repeating it’s a terrible idea. The identity quiz was confusing because I scored high on the career portion, low on the organization portion. Her advice: don’t leave your job at an organization you don’t like just because you may never find another job like that again???
