Disability benefit spending goes up the less we are institutionalised, with the pandemic, poor living conditions/poverty causing illness (mould, cold homes, isolation). It costs significantly less for disability benefits per month than a "care" home. The Place i was kept as a teen was £3k a week, 15 years ago. Us being in the community saves the govt and ableds money, only thing that seems to matter. Stop killing us.

In my opinion, ableds only "let" us out of asylums as keeping us locked up against our will was at last more shameful than c-ing us in public.
