Status Updates From After Oz

This is might to be a DNF. The concept of the story is intriguing. I love the part of the story told from the town's perspective. I'm struggling to get through the sections that involve Dorothy, a whiny and obstinate 11-year-old, and her doctor. The doctor is also whiny and quite annoying. As of right now, Dorothy is on trial for murder. The old lady down the street was found melted to death.
