Why do I always forget how Pulley writes? I know she has written many of my favourite books and I remember loving them, but I always think that my mind is just playing tricks with me and how enchanted I was with the pacing and the quirky humour and the bloody glorious descriptions. To pick up a new book from her is like finding something rare and precious. Also, this narrator is a genius!
