These guys are the freaking worst. This is whole book is a miscommunication trope on steroids, I can normally handle a little miscommunication but this is the worst. Has this turned into a hate listen? I think so hahaha

Very close to DNFing. 25% of what I read is literally just repeating the same information and two of the male characters even had it almost word for word in their respective chapters...

In all honesty, chapters are skippable and I will likely continue to do so unless things change.

Either way, the book is ok…. But predictable and mid. The male VA isn’t that great. I can’t tell the difference between male characters and his interpretation of female characters is honestly embarrassing. It’s like if a guy was making fun of a woman. Not cute. The female VA is much better, but is hard to distinguish between female characters.

I swear I’ve heard this books before. There have been times where I have re-listened to a book bc the way audible works seems to think a new cover is a new issue of a book… but there have been times where I’ve listened to a parallel to the same book by a different author bc of almost plagiarism. This book is giving me Déjà vu. Not sure why yet.

I love the series I’ve been reading, don’t get me wrong, but I need a break with something else beyond sci-fi lit rpg that is 23 hours in one book… lol! I need some dang romance!!
