Status Updates From La montagna incantata

The moment has come when this story sets me free, and we each go our separate ways. The beginning of this learning process was difficult and slow. I have personally—and in some ways symbolically—experienced many of the states of the main character. I became Hans Castorp, and I don’t think there will ever come a time when I forget that, in spirit, we met. Until next time, "life's delicate child".
