Status Updates From I Hope This Finds You Well

idk what it says about me that I'm enjoying this in tandem with the anime "Recovery of an MMO junkie", both about people in their 30s who have sad lives, and just eating it up but I can't put either down
and insert something about corporate workplaces here

I was NOT anticipating this book to depict depression so thoroughly. The writing is great but it's really hard for me to read this character's POV because it's so sad and dreary and depressed.
