I don't even know why I love this book so much. Maybe because it portrays priests as human beings with flaws. So compelling and I hate putting this book down.

I wasn't going to turn on the light to read last night, but I don't have this book on Kindle. It drew me, without a doubt, and I read well into the night. Sometime I should tell the author about my own experience with a particular priest. It parallels one of these stories. I think everyone who reads Tongues of Angels will find a parallel to which they can relate. I'd be surprised if they didn't.

Have you read this book? You haven't? Shame on you. There are so many nuances in this book I am impressed that one author can cover them so eloquently and with such purpose. There is more to this book than research. There is instinct. Julia has it.

This is a great book! I think what I love most about it is its deep immersion into reality. I'm not far enough to seriously take on his frustration, which he surely must have, but touching on others' lives, you see it - and it's believable, without a doubt!
