finished chapter 9, it’s wild that doctors used to just always fall back on hysteria as a diagnosis and so sad that so many women were given these bs “treatments” when there was literally nothing wrong to begin with. it’s interesting to learn how anxiety has sort of become an over generalized diagnosis as well, and how issues still persist to this day although it’s getting better

finished chapter 8, damn can men stop blaming women for all their problems 😭. once again this chapter is a bit depressing, men basically blaming women for stds and stuff and literally abducting them for “looking sus”?? but gave some hope towards the end. the part about the covid vaccine was crazy to me and i had never heard about it but still wild
