i'm back baby. the momentary inability to refer to her children oo?? things and "these"s and stuff. todd's devotion to the church gets funnier. also bc st. dunstan is the code word against him. religion is powerful and can be used for any purpose!

It’s getting better, I like where the plot is moving with colonel Jeffrey and Johanna planning to confront Sweeney Todd. I also really enjoyed the chapter about Mrs. Lovett getting a new worker for her pie shop (spoiler it’s more than just a pie shop)

Getting better. The biggest problem with this book is just being able to find a good reading pace due to the writing style. Nonetheless it is still very interesting and intriguing. Getting to the point where I just need to get er done and finish it. I like how we're getting more insight on Todd and Mrs. Lovett and how some side characters are having actual development.

No creía que iba a ser tan bueno jaja
Es gracioso, tétrico, crítico y con sesgos típicos de la época (por suerte para mí, no demasiados)
Me encanta

A lot different than the movie so far but in my opinion that’s a good thing because I’m not spoiled on what’s going to happen. Story is good. I wish we had more insight on Sweeney Todd himself but I believe we’re getting there. A little hard to follow along due to the writing style of the late 1800s. Honestly it’s just hard to stay engaged but I want to get through it.
