I think I’ve realized most anthologies end up landing in the same place for me. They’re such a mix of highs and lows, hits and misses, that they usually fall somewhere between a 3 and 4 star read. Not consistent enough to earn a 4 from me (and 5s are reserved for the best of the best), but also not weak enough to be a 3, which I think of as a “meh” book.
