Status Updates From Hammerwing: A New Great Shi...

Almost done with this thing. What a let-down for me personally. I was so excited when I found out that he was writing more Great Ship novels. For years he's just been writing short stories, novelettes, and novellas. And as nice as they were I prefer a big novel. This was not the novel I was waiting for.

It really irritates me that the author calls certain lead characters "dragons". They are actually human beings not scaly, fire-breathing, big beasts with wings and a tail. It would be more correct to call them Phoenixes because they resurrect when they die. But, and this is just my imagination, I think the author used "dragons" because it's a big draw. Ooo, dragons, I gotta read that! Some people are like that.
