Just one last section to go. In the end, the book has held up fairly well.

The pace has picked up a bit. I skipped ahead and read some parts at the end, looking to see if Aldridge mentioned Angela Lansbury. I didn’t realize that ‘Murder She Wrote’ came out of a network’s desire to have a series about Miss Marple. There weren’t enough Christie stories to support a season of shows!

I’m more skimming than reading since it has some boring parts. Too much about publishers and the like.
