Finally got a little interesting after a body appeared. Though when you have a sister who can see ghosts and one who is a human lie detector, this should really be a quick solve. I will be impressed if this is a red herring but it seems pretty obvious that the mayor did it, that he also killed the great aunt (there is no way she just left town) and tried to kill Linden.

The writing is super clumsy so far, let's hope it improves after it gets done with the introductory exposition.
