Ten chapters in and I am COMMITTED. Already spotted one oblique Taproot reference (the ROOTS of the TAPWOOD, am I right?) and a LoTR reference (there can be only one “round green door”!!) that absolutely charmed me!!

I'm finding it a bit tricky to get into at first. It's like scenes are rushing past each other. Not read enough to establish a proper opinion yet...
