It’s a bit slow but very atmospheric .

ohhhhhhh boy. This book went exactly where I expected it to go, and for once I am not at all upset by the fact. The dread and dramatic irony building up all this time is absolutely stunning, but everything after this is new territory.

I can't wait to see what happens next!

As someone who is very much squicked out by childbirth, that scene with Katie was at once harrowing, felt accurate and authentic, and heartbreaking. Honestly, very well done.

I am really enjoying the way this plays with what the reader knows about Victor and his story versus what Agnes knows about this strange visitor to her little island.

I am also very, very worried for this big strong woman with a kind heart.

I am quite curious about where this story goes, and just where in the Frankenstein story it's nestled.

almost finished this in one sitting while in class lol i haven't read a book in sooooo long
