Stupid writing is asking for massive bites of suspension of belief in the setup or the intelligence of Annie to keep going.

So this isn’t actually a romance. Both MCs were engaged in casual sexual relationship but they weren’t getting to know each other in a particularly romantic way. I guess this fact makes the ending understandable. I am very interested in what the author wants to do with the second part of this story. A very good 4* read.

Emily Waters tells a good story. The writing is just so easy. I don’t know if this is any better than a 3. But just for a writing that holds my interest as long as it has I should give it a 4.
