Status Updates From Invaders or Saviors

The premise of the book initially really intrigued me. Unfortunately, about halfway through, my interest was waning. The character development was too minimal for my liking. Also the extensive use of military jargon was not my cup of tea at all, as was the chapter breakdown per action sequence. All in all, I imagine veterans or military personel would appreciate this one more than I did.
