Got this from a little free library and had to borrow it for nostalgia, it was one of my favorites. (the second one taught me about earlobe itching and leprosy.) LL is so good at expressing the weight of so many little things when you are young. I love this book in particular because anastasia’s parents take her so seriously and treat her with so much respect
